Hi all!
As usual, I am seeking your infinite wisdom (don't ya love how I always butter y'all up when I want something? LOL). :D
I think I need a new saddle. It doesn't seem like it fits Rumby anymore (and I really need a smaller width tree for him anyways). I am in LOVE with my Collegiate Alumnus, I have had it for 5 or 6 years. I hate to get rid of it, but I must if I am to purchase a new saddle.
I really like the Collegiate I have. And they aren't outrageously expensive, like my dream saddle is (Crosby XL-H, *begin drooling*). I was looking at an HDR (I tried one at the tack shop and it was sooooooo comfy!), but I saw a while back when y'all started bashing it for being cheaply made. ;) LOL
So, since Collegiates appear right up my alley, what is your experiences with them? I noticed that they now make a Collegiate Close Contact (that's what I want & need, a close contact) with the changeable gullet.
Any comments, concerns, questions, experiences???
