Given the closure of the the bit bank (http://www.neueschulebits.com/bitbank/), can anyone recommend anyone that offers a similar service?

We're currently borrowing our YO's bridle and bit as needed, but sooner or later there'll be a clash. YO's bit is a KK Ultra French Link, which Fifi seems to be happy in. However, she's been ridden for all of about 10 minutes in the last 9 months - with all bar 10 seconds of trot of that being in walk.

Current best estimate is that she'll be ready for a full vetting (ie able for canter under saddle) in 2 to 3 months. Until she's in regular ridden work I'm not sure we'll know whether she likes a bit or not, and the KK Ultra's are not cheap bits.

Equally well, don't want to get a cheaper bit and then not know whether she doesn't like the alloy rather than the configuration.

Any ideas - it's all very confusing :confused::confused:

Our local saddlery will let you take a bit, try it and then return it within a fortnight if it is no good, that is providing it is not rubber etc that could be damaged during that time. Other than that, no ideas I'm afraid. Good Luck! Its sounds like she is doing really well.
