Signature length

Hi Mods.
I was just wanting to have alittle grip about signature lengths. I posted a reply to someone earlier, and I thought it was a fairly hefty response, but when I posted it & saw that their signature was longer than my post!!! I was alittle shocked!

I thought there was a 3line max on signatures? it makes threads way longer than they need to be!

Does this bug anyone else? Or am I just grumpy because I'm avoiding some work I need to do? Or am I just wasting time until tea-break so I can further avoid the work I need to do?

Not a mod but here's a response anyway:
Yup some signatures seem kind of excessive- but I don't read the really long ones and am able to just skim over them.
As for server space I think text is really not taking up much space in contrast to pictures so I would be suprised if it was a major concern to the board managers- but I could be wrong! :)

I don't think it would take up much server space - but deffinitly screen space!

Anyways, I think I achieved my procrastination aims for today - I'm nearly finished work without having to do the stuff I really need to! YAY!
