Hi Mods, just a quick question\suggestion. Long time board users will see many of the same questions coming up time and again. (Sheath cleaning, horsekeeping costs are two that come to mind at the moment) Does this board have a 'sticky' feature - posts that are sort of permanently on the top of each topic forum OR alternately could there be a FAQ board set up? - perhaps with only mods posting links\answers.
I know that we can search the boards for archived posts but I thought it might be helpful for new users if there was a way for them to see these things more readily :)

I know Mods have the power to make certain threads sticky, and then they appear at the top of the respective forum, permanently.
I think some 'How to...' on some techie stuff like making an avatar, signature and post pictures woudlb e a good idea, because I've lost count of how many times I've seen these questions

I agree a technical FAQ would be useful. A horsey one would also be useful but I can see a problem in agreeing what is the right answer to some of the horsey questions. The main issue is finding time to sort and organise this.
As for a teen forum - this comes up often and the answer is no - for many reasons but mainly it would take far too much effort to moderate.

When I get it I'm usually saying "Will someone please leave the board" ;)

a sticky tag would be useful for things like the colour genetics things chev's posted, where there isn't really a debate, just info.
can quite see you wouldn't want most topics sticky!
