Who else is around the age of 16 and is having riding lessons? I was just wondering as we could all discuss our riding lessons and stuff and have fun basically.

Neither am I but I do have lessons - usually weekly on my own horse. I've missed the last 3 weeks because of a broken finger, but start again tomorrow:D :D

What sort of things do you do in your lessons?

I have lessons every couple of weeks- well whenever i have the money! :)

But beware, if you want to chat about lessons etc, i will talk for hours on the subject, give you long indepth analysis of my lessons! :)


So, do you have a horse? Or just ride at a riding school?

Im 17, 18 next month.
I have riding lessons once a week, not on my own horse. I dont have lessons on my own horse at all, I school him myself.
I ride different horses each week and much prefer it that way.
Do I count?

Ah, hes cute! I went to the other thread!

Well, it all starts now! I just got back from the stables :D

I booked a lesson with the manager on a new horse who is gorgeous :D Shes only young and very green but she went really nicely in the end and my instructor said she was very impressed :D Im so happy!! :D :D

I also rode out in the park on this little crazy pony, who kept taking off every corner we went round! That was really fun until the end, she hasnt been clipped, so gets VERY sweaty, and she was really itchy and decided to lay down and have a roll!! Right in the mud! So I flung myself off the side and got back on when she got up again!!

I got to excersise whilst i was there too :D Hehe, the day of many rides! The horse i rode was sweet, trot was great, canter horrible!!

Anyways, I gta go, have a shower!! :D

Discussing about riding lessons sounds like a great idea!

I have a lesson tomorrow...I only take weekly lessons, unfortunately! :(
No horse yet, but I USE to partboard so I treat that mare like shes mine ;) shes so spoilt!
So what is everyone doing in their lessons?!
