Bramble seems to be doing really well at the moment in her learning and has taken to long reining like a duck to water.

She is always the type to get a bit distracted and forgets to listen to you but she is much better now than 6 months ago.

I think she is now ready to g out on the longreins for little walks, we only walk as I don't want her to learn to go any faster until after she is backed, so how do I make walking in longreins in the school more interesting?

you can use cones, poles etc to make grids, circles, mazes...anything! just think about what you would do ridden and long rein over / round and through them instead...it's brilliant fun!

circles, figures of 8, seprentines and bending if you are really coordinated? i remembe ther first time i tried to longrein through a line of bending cones - it was hilarious. poor patient pony, i really messed it up!
