:) I just started lessons this saterday and I just need some advice for next week.My horse that i am assighned to is very sweet he is 20 years old and never bites or kicks no matter what.here is a picture of him jumping

Also, I can't see the picture of the horse you will be having lessons on?

You need to think about matching your body movements to the moves the horse's back is making.

Feel the bones in your backside that you are sitting on. Feel how they move.

Rockers on a rocking chair in walk. Your whole seat will be rocking back and forth. At the same time one side of your hip will be lifted allowing the other to drop. Let this happen when you want him to move forward.

the same will happen in trot but much faster and more dynamic.

Always think "grow taller" don't lean back or forward. Lift up your ribcage. Never drive with your seat. Let the horse move you never the other way round.
