I have been riding Jazz for about 2 weeks now and he is so gentle for his size and lovely to ride, we are walking and trotting happily and starting to work in a nice outline.
I introduced him to trotting poles the other night and OMG you would have thought they where going to swallow him up if he went near them, we started with just one pole and after about 15 minutes i finally persuaded him that they where not going to jump and eat him :rolleyes: we walked over it about 10 time and then added another 2 poles so he had to walk over 3 of them, it took a while but we managed to walk over them a few times, then we trotted over one pole which again took some doing and eventually after about an hour we managed to trot over all three :) im a chuffed mummy at the moment, just thought i would share his progress so far with you all, i will try and get some more pics this weekend.
