Obscure question about Smilies

I log on to NR at work and also at home. I've realised that with the new board software I now have the colourful and more expressive smilies at home whilst the ones at work are the same as they ever were, any colour you like as long as it's yellow:D

Just curious as to why that might be :cool:

Here at work, I have the same ones as before and I thought I was way out of the loop when you all were talking about how cool the "new" ones were...

Until last night when I logged on at home for the first time since the change. At home, I have the funky colored ones....

Nice to know I'm not the only one experiencing this phenomenon! Strange how the dull yellow ones know to show up at the office...

Could be related to caching--which would be related to browser setting, and your different browsers may have different settings. You can try hitting shift-reload on some page wher the smilies show; you could also open each individual one (right click on the image, select "open image") and hit reload. That may do it for you.

Thanks Galadriel, that shift-reload idea worked and I can see the new smileys now. :)
