Can someone - Wally? - please tell me the correct way of measuring a bit? I measured Barney's, from ring to ring, and it was 6". Then I read someone that you should curve the bit to the shape it takes in the horse's mouth and THEN measure between the rings. Which would make it 5 1/2" or 5 3/4". Which is right?
