LOL- this HAD to go on this board. Yesterday while backing one of my instructors driving horses into shafts of carriage he leapt into the air pirouetted and tried to hide behind me -why? because the kids pone in the paddock threw a plastic chair out of the paddock. Now for the funny bit-

Driving horse= Suffolk Punch, 17.1 (and about the same in width :D )
Pone= Welsh A, 10.2
Me= Anglo/French 5ft 2

He would NOT go back towards the pony for love money or carrots, so picture if you will pony fans a gigantic draft horse cowering behind a tiny woman with a puffed-up pony strutting up an down the fence. Ponies really do rule!

Dontcha just love 'em:D Nothing scarier than a tiny pony!

The smaller they are the more attitude. I tie our two together outside the stable in the evenings and feed them whilst I put the bed down and on more than one occasion there has been a kerfuffle and clattering of hooves and Rio (15.1) has appeared looking startled in the doorway. You guessed it, Gem (11.2) has finished her dinner first, shoved Rio off hers and started on it:)

Thats really funny :D Are you learning to drive on a 17.1!!! :eek: :eek: It reminds me of when I had Ben 11hh at livery. The 16hh something horse that was in the box opposite was terrified of Ben, he actually bolted off into the yard because I had Ben tied up outside he was such a woos!!

:D hee hee had to join in, donny (13.1hh) beats up every gelding he meets regardless of size, weight or expense . . . the funniest time though was when he was turned out next to a 15.2hh, massively heavy welsh cob who thought he was the boss . . . well we couldn't have that could we, so donny stood by the electric fence until he charged over, ready to beat donny up. calmly donny just grabs the ear of this horse in his teeth and drags him onto the electric fence . . .that taught him :o but i was kinda glad that the cobs owner wasn't there at the time!!

We had Foxy Ladys Alfie on loan for 6 months this Summer. Alfie is a 10 hh Mini Shet. When I bought Captain home for trial Alfie thought he was going to be boss. He tried to bully Captain. Captain stood there one day and Alfie started, they ended up in such a tangle Captain jumped Alfie run under Captain's belly and got stuck :eek: . Alfie couldn't get out. Captain kept jumping to let Alfie out. My friends and I running over to help. My guess is they won't play twister again. :D
