Quarter marks!

Does anybody know how to achieve a succesfull quarter mark on a horse? I keep trying on Beth, but it never seems to look right. It seems like her hair is too long to do it, but her hair is quite short, if you know what i mean. I can just aboutdo the sharks teeth on her, but i can only fit about two on! Any advice?

do you use a stencil?? you can buy quarter markers in diamond, square of triangle :)

Brush the coat vertically with a soft body brush, then use a stencil and brush over the stencil horizontally. A bit of hairspray can help to fix them for longer.

If you use a comb, you may need to cut one to size. The metal dog flee combs are quite good as they have very fine prongs, very close together (they are also fantastic for pulling manes)
