update on Simba

Hello all! Dont know if you remember back month or so ago I posted some pretty pathetic(?) posts about old Simba and I not being able to get it together training wise. Well.... Good news, a hooked up with a new horse friend that happens to be a trainer and she is doing amazing things with him! He is keeping his head down more with the help of a training fork ( guess you call them a martingale?) and his trot is smoothing out. He also can SIDEPASS!!!!! He is backing beautifully.. I dont mean to brag but you all know they are like our children and I am so proud of him. He is trying SO hard and is looking so fit! He has lost his barn buddy, she got sold, sorry cribbing thing! He liked her though. He is getting over it. Thanks all! JC

Glad to hear it JC! We become one big family on this board, even those of us across the pond from you! Its nice to hear how our friends horses are doing, especially after there has been some hard times. Congratulations and keep up the good work with him. Happy Trails!
