Had to share!!
The YO's horse, Hoots, goes tomorrow so the girl who rides him alot and a couple of others had a final, really cool mini hack round the orchard and through the woods, Drummer was loving it and was an angel!
Then 2 of us decided to go for a final burn up the field because everyone was in so it was empty.
Well, Drummer flew!!! Hoots took off and he took off after him, flat out  !! But it was BRILL, ACE, COOL!!! I've never been so fast on him!! I am a huge wus though, I started trying to slow down 1/3 of the way, you feel like you will never be able to stop! :o I was shaking like a leaf and grinning like a cheshire cat when we stopped!! :D More more more!! :D

Yep, It's the best feeling in the world when you gallop :D I don't own a horse, but the riding school I go to takes people out on hacks, and if it's not too muddy, we go up a gallop hill. Well done!!! :D

well done u:D
i remember i had to get my old y/o horses in and it was dark and cold and they were all in the back field do i got merlin in tacked him up picked out his hooves and of we went trotting into the darkness of the back field to roudn the horses up 5 to be exact :D
well we got to the entrance of the field and next door started ther generator up so up went merlin hehe
i went over to the horses on merlin called them and they all overtook us galloping down the fields so merlin actually WAITED  till i sed lets go
he absolutley flew IT WAS GREAT although i did think we were goin ova the fence too :D :D
wen hes fit enough im goin to take him over the stubble fields in the summer for a long gallop.

Waaaa Hoooo. I bet the shaking was adrenaline rushing through your body. I first time I did it I couldn't believe the speed. Now I can't get enough of it. :D

well done :D
it can be scary galloping but if your on a horse you love and trust like you were isn't if the best feeling eyes stinging from the wind ears burning the pounding of hooves in that fast thundering rythme
what would we do without these wonderful quadrapeds who exept use on their backs so readly

its a gret feeling when u gallop. the only problem is my saddle tends to slip at the gallop so it can be a bit of a gamble!

hehe, with angel it seems to depend whether she sees a point to it (eg 'i think you'll find *i* am the fastest around here!') or not :D
turned her out yesterday and she bombed off at breakneck speed with the rest of the herd. i was almost worried she wouldn't make it round the corner without falling over ... she managed to overtake the biggest horse there was
