View Full Version : OMG It was SO much fun!!!!!!!

Well today at my riding school we done something different today - we went on a hack and it was the first time i have ever done this and i was really really fun. we walked down the road up the bridletrack and round the field and then back. :D i am so happy! :D

sounds like fun, now think how much fun you could have in a couple of weeks galloping down the track!!! :D

That sounds like a great change from a lesson in the arena. It's fun to do something different and feel like you're really riding the horse! I'm so happy for you.

CoolRider - The minute I started to hack out riding lessons were no longer enough. 1/2 an hour a week and it was all over. Another 7 days to wait. You will be sooo hooked you will be saving up for a horse of your own that you can hack out all the time. :D

Thats excellent, wait till you get more experienced and can go on the proper hacks, Langdon Hills is lovely :D

The good thing is though its not just fun for the rider its also fun for the horse! When we hack out we gallop along the fields and the horses race each other naturally! Of course we can stop them but we let them just run and have a bit of fun! Some of the horses eg really slow ones will really suprise you when they are running along the fields! At first I was really scared but now me and Miley really have a lot of fun outside!

Hacks are great fun! I'm glad you had a nice time. I find them so relaxing, often my position goes out the window because I'm absorbing everything around me and forgetting what I look like! toohorsemad is right, horses love them too. Hope you get to do it more in the future!

thanks for all the nice comments people - by the way novice nic i only get to ride once every two weeks so i have to wait longer til i get to ride next : :(
