who swapped my pony??

since we moved to the new yard, angels 'hacking habits' seem to have disappeared!!!

she hasnt napped once when going out along (napped once when heading for the arena and had to navigate through the muckheap ... embarrassingly that had to be exactly when Samira was just coming round the corner, ho-hum ...) AND she has been a star when hacking in company - none of that 'ah will she leg it? will there be a race? is it safe to canter? oh an accidental gallop?' malarky so far :D even had a fast-ish canter with another horse ad even though we landed next to other horse briefly, pony was easy to slow down and get behind the other horse again!!!

i think so :) we're hacking A LOT more now, because there are people to hack with (i dont like venturing on the big roads on my own) for a change! and with all the hacking, she's getting more co-operative in the school as well :)

she seems to have found a new pal in the field as well (a nice looking black cob mare) :)

Aww, thank you :D She does look very content :) I have a new found love of exmoors after meeting one recently, I wish there were more about.

ive only ever ridden one exmoor and thats angel :) but if shes anything to go by, exmoors rule :D yes, she can be quite opinionated and yes, she does have a mind of her own (she thinks she knows everything better!), but thats half the fun and suits me well (for i am quite opinionated myself!) :)
