Hi - if you read my post 'new pony, confidence lost' you will get an idea about his character! He is approx 14.2, 9rs and is sort of lemon spotted - his name is Tommy. I am told he is an Irish cob and came over to the UK 12 months ago - and is broken to harness. I bought him off a Welsh farmer who said the kids had lost interest and no-one had ridden him for 6 weeks or more. He was advertised as a safe hack and was certainly safe and quiet when I tried him out.
I think he just needs time to settle in - although he has a nasty nap - he is a very nice chap!

Hi Denise. Tommy is lovely :) a really sweet little chap. i've been reading your other thread. just give it time and take it slow. he might be a bit on his toes since he's not long moved. i think he's just soooo cute

awwww thank you. I am going to try and chill out about it all this weekend and just spend some 'quality time' with him. I am taking him up to the local stables on Saturday for a lesson, but will lead him up there with my daughter on him. As I dont have computer access at home (only at work) I will update you on Monday as to how things have gone.
