FINALLY I can post here! :D. I turned 18 last week (making me officially an adult) and today I rode a 14.1hh PONY.
Yay!
So here are a couple of pics. This guy is my old loan horse who I love to bits. He belongs to the riding school and I rode him today to practise my (rather bad) canter. He's got the comfiest canter in the world - he barely moves you at all - although his legs move quite energetically his back stays totally level. I had him on loan for a year, over 5 years ago, and he's still the only horse I will trust to take me over the cross country course. It's good loaning from the riding school, because I know that (barring health problems) I can come back in 5years, 10years, or even longer, and he'll still be there. It's great to know that your old horse is in a loving home for life, and doesnt face an uncertain future when you move on. :D I can still see both my old loan ponies through the window of my stable - this guy who I gave up 5 years ago, and the pony I had before him!
Hope you like him, he's a star. I would have him any day if only; he were bigger, I had the funds, and the riding school would part with him (they love all their horses to bits).
