FINALLY I can post here! :D. I turned 18 last week (making me officially an adult) and today I rode a 14.1hh PONY.
Yay!
So here are a couple of pics. This guy is my old loan horse who I love to bits. He belongs to the riding school and I rode him today to practise my (rather bad) canter. He's got the comfiest canter in the world - he barely moves you at all - although his legs move quite energetically his back stays totally level. I had him on loan for a year, over 5 years ago, and he's still the only horse I will trust to take me over the cross country course. It's good loaning from the riding school, because I know that (barring health problems) I can come back in 5years, 10years, or even longer, and he'll still be there. It's great to know that your old horse is in a loving home for life, and doesnt face an uncertain future when you move on. :D I can still see both my old loan ponies through the window of my stable - this guy who I gave up 5 years ago, and the pony I had before him!

Hope you like him, he's a star. I would have him any day if only; he were bigger, I had the funds, and the riding school would part with him (they love all their horses to bits).

Aww, he looks like such a sweetie! I like coloureds. I've always found them to be really smart. I don't know if there really is a correlation between colour and intelligence, but every colored i've known has been very clever.

I nicked that top off my friend years ago! It's from the 9/15 range and is about age 12 :p

He's a hard work ride - not very forward going. Well, not with my weak legs anyway.
I always got told off for taking him at cross country jumps too fast though. He can really jump. He used to be a jumping pony. I love him he's so sweet. But within 5minutes on him my legs were screaming! Im used to the other way round (my horse tends to pull your arms out, not break your legs :p)
