Since Baylee is nearing her pregnancy, we have moved her to a different paddock with the stall connected to it. Today, she seemed to have a lot more milk than usual. It is about a month before she foals, so I have been on the lookout everyday. The thing is she is a little ancy because she is not with the other horses. The other reason we put her in this separate pasture is because with have a jealous mare that constantly chased her.

Is her stall and pasture (seems like an in and out) far away from the main horses and or barn? If there anyway you can get her a companion? Is there another inclosure like this next o hers that you could put another companion horse or animal to keep her company? You don't want her getting ancy while she's getting ready to have birth. I might be able to help you more, if you answer a few of the questions!

Well, today she has settled well. She has been very calm and willing, which is good. She has twice as much milk as she had yesterday!!! Her paddock is right beside the other one. But she has settled in very well.

Good move. I read another thread on here that stated a mare may have lost her foal because another kicked her in the field. I really hope all goes well when the new member of the family arrives. Please send us piccys. good Luck. :)
