On Friday 1st April (note the inauspicious start date :D) I started sharing Phoenix. I was like a kid at Christmas!!! Spent the whole day at the yard bothering him, bothered him a bit on Saturday and Sunday, then spent today bothering him again. I actually took Friday and Monday as annual leave just so I could have fun! OH just doesn't understand and small son is complaining about the smell, but I don't care.
I really can't believe that I'm sharing a horse!!! It's a dream come true and he's such a wee pet. I think I've told many of you about him on here. I've spent a lot of time over the last few months getting to know and trust him and he's now being re-backed by his owner and I get to help. It won't all be plain sailing, I know that. He's a scared wee horse who can get a bit naughty, but he's not bad. He's nearly 7 yrs old, 15.2, called Phoenix, cob type and is black with a white blaze. I posted photos on here a while back, but they looked a bit out of focus cos his winter coat was coming in. To be honest, he looked like a pompom on legs. Those piccies are on the thread "Some piccies of Phoenix". I'll try to remember to take some more photos if I ever stop drooling over him for long enough. I'm in love!!
