It looks like a great concept! My only concern is cleaning out from under the bar. It is hard enough to clean out under my mare's heart bar shoes and these look even wider in the heel area. I'm going to discuss it with my farrier. Thanks for the link! :D

I saw the ad in Horse & Rider magazine. That was the only problem I saw with it would be to "pic" them clean.

My friends mare had these on when she was competing alot (she had previously had pedal bone rotation so needed supportive shoes), we called them her Nike's :D They were dead easy to look after and even when she got mud under the 'bar' there was enough room to get under there and clean it out (guess it would depend on the horses foot a bit). This mare did mostly schooling but would get hacked on roads once or twice a week and these shoes could often be re-fitted so they worked out quite economical compared to some.
Glad you posted this, I couldn't remember what they were called and If I have to go back to shoes (currently barefoot) I will go with these.

Shock Absorption
Lameness & Navicular are caused by shocks to the horses legs, hoofs, and joints. The unique composite construction of the easywalker provides shock absorption that no metal shoe can provide, even when applied with a pad. The highly elastic, yet wear resistant anti-shock elements, in combination with the special polymer material provides the ultimate in shock dampening and comfort for the horse and an effective preventive for Lameless & Navicular.

Weight
The centrifugal forces working on the horse's musculoskeletal system at a gallop are immense. they make big claims but don't show any stats about the horses they have helped I would be concerend that they are no better than all other shoes on the market
