Chrondotin (sp?) is only useful when it is in its smallest form, otherwise it can't be digested. Other than Cortaflex Glucosamine 5000 by Glod Label are the only other ones who do it in its smallest form. I use the Glucosamine 5000 on my mare as Cartaflex did nothing for her, plus it cheaper! :D
Hope this helps

I have heard good reports about Gold label Glucosomine 5000.
My horse has severe osteoarthritis of the hind fetlock joint and is on Cortaflex. He also has Devils Claw root as an anti-inflamatory. The combination of the 2 has certainly improved his condition. Cortaflex now has HA (Hyaluronic Acid) in it which helps the joint fluid. I know it doesn't improve all horses but in my experience I would certainly recommend trying it :)

I used to have both of mine on Cortaflex, one has been on it for over 5 years, but have just swapped onto Equiflex from Vetvits. It has the same active ingredients including Chondroitin and Glucosamine.
Top Spec have also just introduced a Joint supplement called 10:10, however, this does not contain Chondroitin but does have Glucosamine.

We use Feedmark's Flexamine and have good results with it. My daughter uses it for her horse who does ODE/XC/SJ/dressage. He too had a clicky hock and it cleared up in about 3 months with Flexamine. They do it in several sizes and send it in post usually next day delivery which is free. They quite often have offers, last time was buy 2 get 3rd free and it included the biggest size too! Also introduce a friend (you get £10 voucher & friend gets either 2.5K tub vitamin mix or 3K garlic granules with their order. Its about £30 for 30 days/ £50ish for 60 days/ approx £85 for 120 days worth. Their contacts are: 0800 585525/fax 01986 782466/www.feedmark.com. We have been using it for about 2 years and have noticed a positive difference. Hope this helps.
