I keep pony at place with another girl who has 2 ponies. We have a paddock each and one riding paddock. She always turns hers out in the riding paddock which is a pain in the bum when I go to ride mine (we keep differnt hours). its a real hassle having to move 2 of hers before I can bring mine in. She says theres too much grass in her paddock which is why she leaves them in the riding paddock and just tells me to move them intothe little yard temporarily if I want to ride. Has anyone else had hassles like this and how did you deal with it. Nowhere to move pony to and don't want to get offside with her as shes great in every other respect

i know its annoying for you but this may be a time to just bite your tongue and put up with it, especially if you don't want to fall out. have you suggested she maybe divides her paddock up, so the ponies get less grass?? i know how frustrating it is, i had a similar problem at our livery yard but just had to put up with it til we moved.

In my experience I always think that it is better to be honest and upfront about any problems - otherwise the little problems niggle away at you and end up turning into huge ones. I would politely tell her your concerns and ask if she could put up some electric fencing to split her paddock into two. You have to remember that she is the one who is putting her poines where they shouldn't be and she may be unaware that you are not happy about her doing this.

Silly question, can you just ride in her paddock, to save arguements? I hate confrontation but I think you do need to talk to her, moving ponies is a pain if you don't have much time!
