Oh my god!! I have excellent news!

I am grinning like cheshire cat :D :D :D :D

I have a horse on part loan!! He's kept on full livery where I ride, the girl works part time at the stables (in fact she teaches my son), and I spoke to her the other day as I was told she was looking for a sharer, and she's happy for me to share her horse! He's gorgeous, he's called Zip, he's 15. 2 I think, I don't know what breed he is, (sorry, I'm rubbish at working out breeds), but he's definately not a cob, I know that much! He's suitable for anyone, novice upwards, he does dressage, he jumps, in fact he's affiliated and does a lot of shows in the summer. I'm going down there on Thursday to try him, but she's definately agreed I can do it! I can't actually manage to type how excited I am :D

Thankyou everyone :) I can't believe its happened this quickly! After all these years of putting off the horsey world cos of kids, weight, money etc, I only got back into it by volunteering at the RDA, and when I started there, another woman said to me 'its only a matter of time... I did what you've done and I now have a horse on loan'. I said Noooooo, I can't even think about that yet! Its way too soon! And here I am, 4 months on..... :D

Now to compile a list of questions for the owner... :eek:

Jus - I think what swung it for hubby is how happy I've been the past few months. He works such long hours, and I'd normally be home all day and all night on my own and end up taking it out on him when he eventually gets home from work, but these days he comes home to a smiley wifey ;)
