Im looking for peoples opinions on what you would want in a numnah. Mainly for treeless saddles, but for treed saddles also.
Suggestions below please! :D
Thanks Tasha

I like it to be as plain and thin as possible, I view it as a way of keeping my saddle clean and soaking up sweat to prevent chaffing.
Problems with ones I've bought have included, not being big enough (even though full size :( ), having a stiff bit that rubs where the front straps are sewn in and finally not being colour fast so they fade in the wash and in sunlight.
Out of interest, why are you asking?

i look for one that actually stays up in the saddle and not flatten out, put pressure and rub on the withers like the one i have now is doing  .im getting a new one next week and the thick ones always seem to do this better.

I would look for one that wicks sweat away, keeps the saddle clean, keeps the saddle in place and is a comfy material for the horse.

Oooh the list is endless - comfy but thin, non-slip (stickability - superglue perhaps?), soft, easy to wash, breathable, simple design and colours (e.g. the Thorowgood comform numnahs - the black one is lush!), different fittings .......
