When i rise to the trot my legs have always flicked and i go 'up' instead of forward. Yesterday when riding in the rain :rolleyes: i think my legs stayed still! :) i hardly seemed to 'move' out of the saddle, yet i was 'moving' just about... i think :eek:
i didnt leave the saddle, but was definatly taking the weight off her back. sometimes i forgot to do it though and ended up sitting trot for a few strides now and then (which was so comfy i didnt realise i was doing it) :o
i think im on the way there - happy was nice and relaxed too. does it sound like im doing it right now?
also i was able to use my leg aids without 'kicking' :D
