First of all, Hello! This is my first post so I'll introduce myself...
My name is Tracey, I'm 20 years old and I love Arabian Horses. So much so that i want to continue my education - or at least my career - with them. I have an NVQ Level 2 (similar to the BHS Stage 2 Care) and 10 GCSE's. I would like to take them to a job where I can continue to an NVQ Level 3 or HND Equine Studies/BSc (Hons) Equine Science (by long distance learning) preferable with Arabians - or part-breds...
I got my NVQ2 in 2001 working with Egyptian related Arabs and would like a job (live in preferably) which would allow my partner of three years (non-horsey, bless him...) to come with me, anywhere in the UK.... I have had horses of my own for 8 years and am very interested in the breeding and in-hand showing of the Arab rather than the ridden side.
I am ideally looking for work on a small private arab stud or any small showing(inhand) yard/stud that will allow both Carl and I. I would prefer a non riding position due to several accidents and a huge loss of confidence (but I am willing to try again) and would not mind showing your horses in hand.
I am registered with careergrooms, landforce, equijobshop, yard and groom and nags&nannies (so far without much luck :( )but would like any info on jobs going. If you know of any could you please mail me?
