I have a felt pad with a fake fur underside, but how on earth do you clean it properly, I brush it regularly and as often as I can I use non-detergent and a jet washer on it but it takes weeks to dry again, How do you all wash yours?

I have a felt pad with a canvas overlay on top. In the cold winter months, after the sweat drys,I brush it off,use a shedding blade to get hair off it, then I hang it over a fence and beat it with a broom. When it warmer I usually hose it off every 1-2 weeks, or when its needed. But I know exactly what type of your talking about, so I would suggest vacuming it, and washing it every month or two. :)

Thanks, I hadn't thought of vacuming it :D will give that a go in between major washes.

Jessey, like you I used a hose on "power" spray. Then let it drip dry outside before bringing it in to get the last bit dry.

My mum has one of those rug dryers, so I have been known to sneak it on there ;)

I've also resorted to drying it over the bath (when I was in Sweden) which takes some time so it was lucky we had a separate shower
