i think angel is getting into the spring spirit :) she was ever so energetic today  we must hvae excitedly trotted round for what seemed like hours (was probably only 15 to 20 mins ...), she was a very eager little madam today ... is that normal??

We have a little Mini Shetland who has got a serious attitude on him at the mo. Can't work out whether its the spring grass or he needs a girlfriend. ;) I bet its lovely having Angel being more forward going. Captain still takes things in his stride. I have even put him back into to his snaffle to try and get a faster reaction. He still plods along in the menage. Let me borrow some of your grass for a energy burst for Captain. :p

OMG, I rode Drummer round the orchard on Sunday and he spooked at everything!! Nothing had changed! Just spring grass I think!

i think it was a combination and her being in season :D she's pretty much back to normal now, but still more forward than she has been for ages :)

So why does "feel good" transfer to spook at everything! with my pony?

Do you know the good thing though? I remember him getting like this last year and it scared me so I would only ride in the field. Yesterday, I rode round the orchard and just laughed when he spooked! Even when he did it in canter! :D

Thats the best way to be Drummers mum. I'm getting like that with Rhi now. Let her spook at whatever she wants now. Even when to the other day she did a canter on the spot. She is just being silly. Don't think she will ever change
