Hi

I have been riding for 2 years or so - every day - and have never had problems with my seatbones until now! I am interested - for the sake of self-preservation - in buying one of Heather's seat bone savers but have one question: does a seat bone saver stop or restrict seat aids?

Hi Jo,

Absolutely not!! I've had one now for four months. I ride my friend's Section D in it (as she's expecting!), I'm just helping to keep him 'ticking along'.

This little chap is soooooo sensitive to your seat aids and riding in a seat saver does not affect him one little bit.

It's also alot more comfortable for the owner as well while she's still in the saddle (just!!).

I don't have a ssaver but my friend does and they really work. Instead of restricting your aids they really help them become more effective and give you a secure position in the saddle- THEY REALLY WORK:D

PS i am getting one as soon as I can afford it:)

If anything the slow return foam enhances the seat aids. You are so comfy and able to sit close to the horse that your seat aids are not restricted in any way.

OK, I'm convinced - I shall order one tonight! Thanks all!
