Chewing the bit

I have noticed Happs chewing on her bit recently. She is not 'chomping'. just chewing slightly with a relaxed jaw. if i vibrate the rein to make her bring her head up, she does it more. Why is this? :o

She has a relaxed jaw - then it's all right with it - it has to be so. Imagine your horse with uptight jaw... Maybe your horse's bit has some Cu details, some horses like especially that metal.
