Resently i went out on a hack over bodmin moor (cornwall) with my cousin mum and the instructor and 10 minutes into the ride a donkey starts chasing us, and all the horses just galloped off. Myself, mum and instructor were fine but my cousin just couldn't keep her balance and she just dropped her reins and held on for dere life. She ended up falling off but i wasnt surprised. The horse didnt buck or anything but shes been riding for 2 years but still has no confidence and you can see shes really nervous whenever she rides. she ended up swapping horses but i dont see why it wasnt the horses fault

In situations like this, people often forget to breethe - it's very important in keeping balance. I advise to read this...http://www.meredithmanor.com/features/articles/drm/breath.asp
