HI everyone,

I am so sorry not to have been able to post for the last couple of weeks. My ex-husband, with whom I am still good friends, was diagnosed last week with cancer and has had to undergo surgery this week. Hopefully, it has been caught in time, but he is not out of the woods yet.

On top of this, my new stallion arrived from Portugal last week, after a five day journey, he was very unsettled, and has taken a lot of time to try to make him feel more at home. He is at last starting to quieten down, having been the calmest and easiest stallion to ride and handle when i rode him in Portugal he turned into a near wild horse on arrival here.

He is now starting to eat and not just race around the box like a lunatic, and is showing us his delightful disposition again. He really hasn't a nasty bone in his body but has taken a lot of careful handling to make him feel more at home.

I am also have students here at the moment, and so life is really so manic.

Please excuse me if I don;t get around to answering posts for a few more days but will try to catch up a bit next week if all is well.

Sincerely,

Heather

Dear Heather,
Here's hoping that your friends, human and equine, will both be feeling more relaxed soon. You too.
I'm having a few problems with my e-mails at present, so when you feel up to it, can you let me know whether or not you posted me a booking form for the September seminar. In the meantime, I will fax my details, in case you think you should post the form, just to be certain I get it.Thanks Heather.Bye for now.

Dear Heather, some times life seems to keep dealing out bad cards and then suddenley a good card appears, we hope for you all.
Cancer is no easy subject for most,I know from experience in our family.
I also know for the people involved that this is a very lonely time, it means so much that friends and family keep intouch, even when spirits are low and rational is very hard to understand due to the effects of medicene.
Our hearts are with you all.

Best wishes from Fred.

The transitions on a circle which you recommended recently to another member have helped Kerry and myself tremendously. I'm sure absolutely everyone else you interact with benefits too. BUT!!! Please, please allow us to help you too. Your members benefit so much that I'm sure they would all want you to take the time you need for your new stallion, your ex-husband and - dare I say it - YOURSELF. I suggest you try to organise an auto-reply which says that you are not able to reply for a while so that you can create some space (and time) for yourself whilst not worrying that you are letting us all down. Sorry to be blunt but I'm made that way when it matters.
