that is the general theme of this event ( also posted into the cafe area but I know that some people that previously contacted me hang out in this bit :D )

In August EMW (Equine Market Watch) is holding a two day fundraising event with the main emphasis of "naturalistic" equine management and complimentary therapies. ( for more info on emw see www.equinemarketwatch.org.uk ) and I would like to share the information here as several people have expressed interest.

I have been doing voluntary work for this equine sanctuary for about 6 years and this is our bigest venture to date.... we are so excited.

When it was first mentioned that I was looking for volunteers to be involved in the bitless bridle display some peole from this site contacted me .... and I am pleased to tell everyone that IZZY coming along with her two gee gees to take part in the display ( there is still time for more volunteers )

Yay, at least I'll be able to find out how it went when I get home :) Otherwise I would have loved to come - and maybe bring my treeless/bitless pony.

Looking forward to it! If anyone wants to know more about Silversand natural horsemanship look at www.silversand.com.au the instructor going to EMW is Shuna Shaw. We haven't quite worked out what she will be doing yet, but what she normally does is try to demonstrate how natural horsemanship isn't about following a set of tasks, but about applying a natural approach to all horsey goals.
I'll be offering the Reiki taster sessions in aid of EMW. :)
