I want to enter my youngster in an unaff prelim stressage test. But not sure if the bit she's ridden in is 'legal' She's ridden in a myler comfort snaffle. Ive never seen anyone use one whilst out stressaging before, so havnt a clue if theyre are or not!
Anyone know?

i believe the myler comfort snaffle was just approved for dressage...but not the snaffle with hooks (the one that has a mild leverage action) just the plain ringed comfort snaffle. (anybody please correct me if i'm wrong...i'm not a dressage rider...just seemed to have picked this bit of info up somewhere...) :o

Maren, what you described is true in the USDF rules now. I don't know about in UK.

The Myler comfort snaffle without hooks is dressage legal for BD as well - has been for about 18 months now.
