I know I am probably talking to the converted here, but after two years of riding 6 times a week, I succumbed to the temptation to buy one of Heather's seatbone savers. I've bought a lot of things for my horse in the two years I've owned her, but I have never bought anything more useful. I hate to admit that I was one of those people who thought that if you sit correctly, you don't need anything to aid your seat and position. I was too proud to admit to the idea that I might not be perfectly balanced all the time. Then I developed a painful seat - not just friction and soreness - and read about bursal enlargements. Well, it scared me half to death and I ordered a saver right from this site. It arrived yesterday and - oh the bliss - I was able to sit in comfort. And guess what? My mare was far more forward going than usual, probably because I was relaxed and not in my wretched driving seat mode, switching her off all the time. Thank you Heather - and if anyone else is too proud to try one out, don't hesitate! Your horse will thank you for it!

i got one last week and i must say that it has automatically made me sit better and be more conscious of what i am doing with all bits of the body! i feel better positioned in the saddle and seem to be able to go along with his body movements a lot better.
in canter we had a bit of a nightmare at first as i don't think i did it up tight enough.... all over the place.... since then, we seem to have it sussed. it has been commented on that i sit a lot straighter and my legs lie more easily on the horse's side..(have a tendency to lean forwards). very very comfy! have yet to reform others at the stables though, with the stable girls taking it off when they have to ride him once a week!
we shall conquer!

Seat bone saver going well! It transfers all saddles into comfortable riding aids - no more struggling with hard saddles with poorly placed stirrup bars! Here we go!

I was lucky enough to spot one of Heather's seatbone savers second hand in my local tack shop.
I must admit I wondered if it could possibly be any good, as it was nearly new and offered at about half the price of a new one. I got to wondering why any one would be selling it if it was as good as it claims to be. However, my faith in Heather and my sore seatbones(!) persuaded me to buy it and try it.
It is by far the best 'luxury and comfort' investment I have made - I am 100% more comfortable in the saddle and my position has improved dramaticaly too, resulting in a much happier horse and rider!
Well done Heather, another superb bit of kit- roll on the day I can afford one of your saddles!

Glad to have been of service girls- as I invented the Seatbone Saver to enable me to ride again, after suffering seatbone damage, I at least know it works! I would never go abroad to ride or teach without one in my suitcase!
