Since I don't own a horse, I have only been able to ride a few times a year. Usually, getting a individual lesson now and again or going in a Walk & Trot group at the beach (groups with a guide on rental horses.)
BUT a fellow has a horse about 20 minutes from my house. The horse is only ridden briefly every few months (when his handicapped daughter is in town.) He wants me to ride her on a regular basis to keep her fit and easy to handle! He lives out in the country with pasture lands and woods with trails. I am so excited! I just had to share with someone who would understand my excitement.
