I was delighted to find some like minded pony lovers !! I am currently looking for a pony and my husband keeps telling me I look silly, and i keep telling him it is how i feel and i am the one riding. I do have a 16.3hh TB gelding who i have just put out on loan, and a smuch as I love him I really want a pony.
It is great to see all the pics. :)

Hi, welcome to NR! Good luck with your pony search :)
Ignore your husband -all men want something about 17hh high that prances around and snorts a lot
There are lots of people on here who ride ponies and it sounds like they have loads of fun!
We will expect you to post lots of piccies when you find something!

:D Hi welcome to the forum - it is great on here.
I have 13 hh Icelandic Nott who is retired as she has spavin but is off to stud soon. I also have lovely kind 14.1 Dolly Cob who is my new confidence giver and all round star.
Have a pony so much more fun - what do you have in mind? Little 'un like an Exmoor or Icelandic or bigger pony like a Welsh D or a New Forest or a Highland?

If i have done this right then Ginger my TB should appear.

Hi I have gone from 17.2 dressage to 15 hand teenage tearaway Haflinger and perfect gentleman 13.2 Icelandic. Don't regret it much more fun and more horse power per inch. Nothing bothers them apart from my not moving their electic fence to new grass quick enough.

Welcome to NR. I have the best of both worlds in Captain. He is 147.4cm (don't forget the 4mm) :p so if I am feeling confident he is a horse. Whereas if I fancy the pony clear round I go in that one. I like to think I am not cheating only just starting jumping though.

Hiya, I'm Emma, and I have a 14.2hh nutter called Crystal, she is a 19yr old chestnut Arab, and thinks nothing of haring up the field with me on her back trying, in vain, to stop her!!! I'm 5ft2, so you will be fine on a pony!!!!
