...I think so :)

I really cannot believe how lucky I have been to find Max, he truly is one in a million. He's whizzy when you want, but I can put my little sister on and he'll be the most responsible ride you've ever seen. He's completely 100% bombproof on the roads, gets on with other horses, and is great to handle, shoe, worm and catch.
He loves jumping and truly is as honest as they come - he's teaching me to jump because when I got him I would just point him at a jump and he would pop over it, and he's gradually teaching me to work out striding etc. Since we've been jumping regularly, he's never so much as thought about refusing or running out, and has never touched a pole, and if he feels me getting unbalanced he'll stop and let me sort myself out.
Sorry for babbling, it just hits me sometimes how lucky I am to have him as a first pony, I love my Maxi! :) :)

Hehe, lol you're going to wish that you hadn't asked that!
Max is a 13.2 Welsh x pony that I've had for about 8 months. He used to be an RDA pony at a yard that I volunteer at, but got really bored and isolated so was acting up. I ended up buying him, he stopped kicking and bucking and found lots of pony friends, and I *really* hope that we're going to live happily ever after :)

You must get a piccy of max for us. I know how you feel about max. I have the same cooing thoughts about Captain. I love it when he looks after me too. We must love them to bits everyday and show them how much we appreciate them. Ahhh :)

Max sounds lovely. It is really nice when you bond with a horse. I feel the same about my Dotty. She is very slow and quiet, but perfect for me!

:) It's just great when you find the right pony. :)
Julia, his hair has grown so much since you last saw him, and still sticks straight up!

Barcie, I don't know whether you meant to put that post halfway through a thread, but you will get more replies if you start a new thread - if you go to the index of threads in the area you want to post in, there's a button in the top left saying 'new thread' ;)
Welcome to the boards though :)
