i think it would be a good idea to have a small off topic section on here even if its emptied every 2 days:D it would be nice just to have a general chit chat with peeps and talk about other things.

maybe a trial run would be good????

The thing I like about Newrider is that it isnt like that - that's what we have MSN messenger for!
We are allowed the occasional off topic post but I dont think it would be good to have it a lot. I am also a member of Saddle-up and like Newrider a lot more because it stays horsey and not just lots of people talking about other things, who have one common interest.
Just my opinion :)

The problem we have is controling the amount of O/T cackage. All mods are voluntary and do have other things to do so cant be here all the time to oversee it.
