Hi there,
What do you do when you are putting a horse in a new stable? I'm taking Foxy on holiday this week, and the stables are old, used and probably dirty. What should I do without washing them? I can't wash it out because it wont dry in time!

How long will she be in the stable for. Most holidays we have seen the horses are more out than in. So if this is the case not so much of a problem. But you can buy dry disinfectant powder called Stable Zone. We use it to keep the smell of amonia down during the summer and in the winter when the beds will not dry out even if left up.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of stable zone! I've got some of it somewhere...!
I'm on holiday from sunday to saturday, and he'll be stabled at night, and possibly during the day if I bath him (I've got a show on the sunday after!). But mainly turned out during the day. I'm really looking forward to it, they've got lovely xc jumps and hacking. Should really be revising for C/E, but oh well!
