Excuse me - what is ringbone?

Hello, I heard someone talking about a horse which had unfortunately recently got 'ringbone'. I have no idea what this is - would someone care to please explain...

no i don't no what this is i have herd of ringworm but not ringbone

i could be something to do with poor bone growth or something i don't have a clue

i would also like anyone to let me no *** this is

check out the above link, explains it far better than i could!! basically it is bony lumps on the fore limbs.
