It maybe that everyone does this, but I had a recent brainstorm re: worming schedules. I was always forgetting which wormer and when but now I've devised a new system: I worm on the day that the farrier comes out! That's every 6 - 8 weeks, more frequently in summer. The farrier gives out his business card with the date, which I then keep and write the wormer type on the back of the card. I have the ponies all caught up anyways and worm them before putting them back out in the field.
