Apparently
I havent heard of this lady - any info?
I just went on our yard's website, and there it was! No-one has mentioned anything up there yet so must just have come about...
It's planned for a week after Denise O'Reilly (Mary Wanless' student) is coming up to teach for a day - arent we getting posh!
So for anyone who may be interested...

DRESSAGE DEMONSTRATION

BY STEPH COOPER

At Smeltings Farm Riding Centre
Sunday 17th July 2005 4.30pm onwards
Tickets £10 (includes refreshments)

Steph Cooper is a British Dressage List 2 Judge and also an international Grand Prix Dressage Rider who has competed for Great Britain.

During the evening Steph will illustrate some of the points to consider when riding dressage movements using two horses and riders. Steph will highlight some of the aspects of dressage tests that a judge would be looking for whilst also offering assistance in improving the horse/rider combination.

Following this Steph will then ride her own medium and advanced dressage horses to give a stunning display including dressage to music.

The demonstration will prove both beneficial to riders and also entertaining for riders and non-riders alike. You will have the opportunity to see some of the most talented dressage horses at work as well as the unique riding abilities of Steph.

She used to give lessons periodically to the liveries at Brimington EC whilst I was there and is based over Newark direction somewhere. I never had any dealings with her personally but everyone spoke highly of her.

Really nice lady, I've competed in the same classes quite a bit and she is ever so pleasant.

Good judge - been judged by her and written for her as well, always seems to try and give constructive and positive feedback even when the test is awful.

Apparently she used to teach at our yard regularly.
I must just have been walking round in a daydream at that time!
