Idea : 'Kinder Way' section on NR site

I was looking at the 'Kinder Way' section on the NR main website and suddenly realised that it doesn't actually have the title of Enlightened Equitation anywhere, although this is what it is all about - Heather Moffett's ideas and methods, now named Enlightened Equitation.

I suspect that when the webpage was built, Heather had not yet found the name 'Enlightened Equitation' that is now the title of her work, instead going buy the name 'Kinder Way' and so this was the title used for this website, which has not been updated to reflect the new name used by Heather.

I think it would be helpful if the NewRider changed the sections name (and therefore the link from the main page) to reflect the current name given to Heather's methods. The section on NR contains lots of interesting information in detail that is possibly being overlooked currently due to the name. In fact, I think it may me more detailed and comprehensive than Heather's own current website and I believe it's a resource that isn't being used to it's full potential as people don't realise what it is about.

If Heather's permission is needed, I'm sure it would be easily obtained.

Kyanya, this is not really relevent to your thread, but I just wanted to say what a lovely person you are! So mature, so friendly and caring, as helpful as you can possibly be when replying to threads. Always eloquent and well written. And obviously genuinely adore horses and want to do your best for them in all ways.

Anyway, again, sorry it's not relevant, but read this suggestion and just thought, Aww, I really like Kyanya. You are a great New Rider member, and I wish you the world of luck and happiness in everything you do in life :)

I have to admit I have thought that in the past when reading some of Kyanya'a posts!! But you must be equally lovely, Perdita.M, for saying so! Awww, group hug anyone?!!! :p

Perdita, thank you so much :D In fact I'm a little :o now! But in a good way of course :) And most of all, thank you for the well wishes and good luck. It means an awful lot, and obviously I wish the same for you. Are you still going to the South of England show? I think I will be and I haven't forgotten our 'drooling over gorgeous M&M ponies' session that we planned :D

Nope, I would sooooo love to, and had planned to, but as usual everything else gets in the way :rolleyes: Really wanted to go on the friday as thats when the shetlands are, the stud my friend is buying from is showing, and mine too I think. Would be lovely to see them in action and get some idea of what the h**l we are meant to be doing :D But no, can't make it thanks to ££££ and childcare as normal :( If you go though, get loads of pics for me! :)
