Riding Holidays

Our riding holidays (http://www.newrider.com/Holidays/UK/ukmap.html) pages are now online.

We've started by plotting holiday establishments by location on maps of UK. Shortly we'll add the ability to search by activity, beach, contryside etc as well as presenting more information about each holiday.

Do have a look and we'd be keen to hear your comments you have on it.

Excellent work Mike. A nice comprehensive list too as far as I can see and very impressively presented.

Do we get the chance to rate the centres or add comments (amazon-style)? (Some people are just never satisfied! ;))

Thanks Karl, yes certainly aim to have a comments facility which I think will be a very useful for people choosing holidays. Could be an interesting area to handle as it is so subjective - we will have to have some clear guidelines as to what we will and will not publish. No doubt the good places will stand out though.

These additions will come along soon - need to work on the databases and code behind the scenes for it.

A agree about it being subjective.

Amazon just don't seem to post the bad comments (which is understandable since the're selling based on the comments!). I posted a damning condemnation of a book which didn't appear (until a year later when the book was obsolete!). My praise, however, always appeared next day! :)

In any case, no rush - the information already there is superb! User ratings would just be icing!
