hi lisa
i'm thinking of going to the brs(british racing school ) when i'm 17 they have a 6or 9 week intensive course which to me sounds like fun and should be an experience

not sure if i want to be a jockey at the moment but at the moment not sure about anything

when are you going to the northern racing stables?

thats quite soon

at the moment i have no idea-ok thats a big lie I have lots of ideas
like to be a jockey,
riding instructor
be a vet
run a b and b
work on a yard with horses and do something
or be a physio - either human or equine or both

so much choice

what really confused me is when after going to a vets for a week of work experience i had an ninteresting time but it wasn't as hands on as i had hoped - lots of sitting by phonesa and hcomputer work and then having been told that the place i should have gone the next week couldn't take me (3 o'clock on the friday before i started on the monday) so i went to the local riding school and enjoyed it alot more and am now completey mixed up

as you have obviously got into the racing school could you tell me what the weight requirements (and other requirements are)

please keep in touch to say how it's going

have fun and good luck
