Hiya just want to share this with everyone :D I did another showjumping class on Sunday. Before i have come 2nd but SUnday i won!! i was so happy.

Eventhough it was only minimus, it was a great achievment in my eyes. Iv taken this horse from one that wouldnt even go out the yard on his own to jumping clear in both rounds and winning!!

So proud! :D

Just one question, how long would it take to affilate him do u think, he is a good jumper ( i think) just needs re training

What height are you jumping at the moment? To go affiliated I believe the minimum height is 90cm (about 3'), including spreads and combinations. I've affiliated one of my ponies, and it's great fun - it took about 2 years

minimum affiliated class is 90cm or 3 foot, and this will go up in the jump off i think (been a long time since i did any affiliated stuff!!). i'd not rush into anything and just keep on doing what you are now. if he's had problems in the past pushing him now he's starting to get confident might be a bit too much too soon. best thing to do might be to go along and watch at an affiliated show. good luck!!
