i have just got a stock that i need to tie myself and it does have instructions on the packet but they are like a foreign language i dont get them ,have tried to tie it but its a no go can any one please tell me how to tie it.thanks :cool:

Do you mean you need to know how to get the horse in the stocks?
If that's what you mean, when i do it I just remember that whereever you put a tie over the horse you need to put one under... I don't know if that makes sense or not...

no - I think Kel means the stock that goes round your neck. I'm sure someone posted a link ages ago - did you do a search ?

It's a reef knot, noting simpler, nothing fancy, just tie a reef knot then tidy it up to cross over if that's how you like to wear it or do it cravat style if that's what you like.
