Rowan is my 16.1 (and growing!) 4 1/2 year old ID x TB.

I have had him 5 months now, when I first got him he had jumping issues and even over a pole on the ground would either refuse to go over, or would cat jump and bomb off. This stemmed from where he came from, they would chase him over too big jumps in the sand school with a lunge whip, so he automatically bombed off after them, as a flight reaction.

We have worked hard together and have done a few shows, each getting better. Yesterdays was his fourth show, and second one outside, and definitely the most crowded he has been to! he was such a good boy.

We did the 2'6 class, which had a stile, something we have never jumped together before. He was calm, responsive and listening, and we got a double clear to come 4th out of 25. He took everything in his stride and I was so proud of him. We then did 2'9, he hasnt done a track that size at a show before, and it had various bright fillers including a big red wall. He jumped all the fillers first time, only this time we had the stile down, but I was so proud because he was really pinging over his jumps and listening to me.

Here are some links to some pics (thanks to my friend 'Glorious-Day' who took them) -

Hiya

Meg is looking hopeful! She has been on antibiotics for 4 months, is on her last course at the moment, and we are renting an equissage machine from the vet, to increase blood flow to her withers.
Once the week we are renting it for has finished, then x-rays, and if all has gone well (lots of fingers crossed!) then I can start bringing her back to work.

If she is still ill then Im not sure what we do. Her vet bills have already cost me more than she was to buy :(
